The show, which premieres this Friday across Channel ONE TV, live stream and on-demand platforms, brings together a diverse panel of South Africa's most compelling commentators, journalists and cultural voices to dissect, debate and decode the week's most significant stories — in politics, entertainment, business, sport, faith and everyday life.

What Is The Friday Debrief?

Think of it as South Africa's most anticipated weekly debrief. Every Friday evening, just as the country winds down from its week, Channel ONE's panel of seven sharp, opinionated and deeply informed voices will take their seats at the iconic Channel ONE studio desk — and nothing will be off limits.

From the corridors of Parliament to the red carpets of Sandton, from boardroom decisions that affect millions to the celebrity moments that define our culture — The Friday Debrief will cover it all with intelligence, warmth and the kind of honest South African energy that only Channel ONE can deliver.
